COMMUNITY CONSULTANT

REPORTS TO: COMMUNITY BUSINESS MANAGER
May take direction from Leasing and Marketing Director

SUMMARY:

Under the direction of the Community Business Manager, this position is accountable for the leasing and marketing efforts of the community and providing excellent customer service to residents.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Meets and exceeds weekly leasing goals and maintains company standard closing ratios
  • Provides excellent customer service to internal and external customers, including prospects, residents and vendors.
  • Presents the community to prospective residents through tours of the community, its amenities, model units and/or other available floorplans
  • Participates in the marketing of the community through on target outreach marketing to specific markets identified by the Team Leaders
  • Ensures most current, relevant information about the community is provided to prospective customers through updating online and print advertisements
  • Merchandises market ready apartments to optimum visual appeal for prospective customers
  • Assists in the preparation of lease agreements and move in packets
  • Actively involved in ensuring first-class property curb appeal
  • Consistently receives above average Mystery Shop scores
  • Adheres to the letter and spirit of Fair Housing laws
  • Assists with resident retention through set up and preparation of resident functions
  • Completes market surveys by identifying and contacting direct competitors
  • Writes service requests as needed for residents
  • Completes assigned tasks and projects as directed by the Community Business Manager
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Proven customer service and sales skills
  • Basic Computer skills (including internet)
  • Good communicator
  • Team player
  • Polished, professional image
EDUCATION AND/OR TRAINING:
  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent
