SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Community Business Manager, this position is accountable for the leasing and marketing efforts of the community and providing excellent customer service to residents.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Meets and exceeds weekly leasing goals and company standard closing ratios on a consistent basis
- Provides excellent customer service to internal and external customers, including prospects, residents and vendors.
- Presents the community to prospective residents through effective on site and phone presentations.
- Assists in developing the monthly Marketing Plan
- Participates in the Resident Retention program through creation and follow up of renewal letters
- Drives monthly resident functions through effective planning and implementation
- Develops the Leasing Team through formal and on the job training and feedback
- Implements approved online and print advertisements to ensure most current, relevant information of the community is provided to prospective customers
- Completes market surveys and recommends test pricing recommendations
- Drives the lease administration process to ensure accurate completion of application and lease procedures per policy
- Actively involved in ensuring first-class property curb appeal
- Consistently receives above average to excellent Mystery Shop scores
- Adheres to the letter and spirit of Fair Housing laws
- Writes service requests as needed for residents
- Completes assigned tasks and projects as directed by the Community Business Manager
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Excellent customer service and sales skills
- Advanced Computer skills (including internet)
- Effective communicator with good problem solving and conflict resolution skills
- Demonstrates good leadership skills
- Knowledgeable in assisting to maintain a marketing administration budget.
- Team player
- Polished, professional image
EDUCATION AND/OR TRAINING:
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent
- One - two years of industry experience
