SR. COMMUNITY CONSULTANT

REPORTS TO: COMMUNITY BUSINESS MANAGER
May take direction from Leasing and Marketing Director

SUMMARY:

Under the direction of the Community Business Manager, this position is accountable for the leasing and marketing efforts of the community and providing excellent customer service to residents.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Meets and exceeds weekly leasing goals and company standard closing ratios on a consistent basis
  • Provides excellent customer service to internal and external customers, including prospects, residents and vendors.
  • Presents the community to prospective residents through effective on site and phone presentations.
  • Assists in developing the monthly Marketing Plan
  • Participates in the Resident Retention program through creation and follow up of renewal letters
  • Drives monthly resident functions through effective planning and implementation
  • Develops the Leasing Team through formal and on the job training and feedback
  • Implements approved online and print advertisements to ensure most current, relevant information of the community is provided to prospective customers
  • Completes market surveys and recommends test pricing recommendations
  • Drives the lease administration process to ensure accurate completion of application and lease procedures per policy
  • Actively involved in ensuring first-class property curb appeal
  • Consistently receives above average to excellent Mystery Shop scores
  • Adheres to the letter and spirit of Fair Housing laws
  • Writes service requests as needed for residents
  • Completes assigned tasks and projects as directed by the Community Business Manager
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Excellent customer service and sales skills
  • Advanced Computer skills (including internet)
  • Effective communicator with good problem solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Demonstrates good leadership skills
  • Knowledgeable in assisting to maintain a marketing administration budget.

  • Polished, professional image
EDUCATION AND/OR TRAINING:
  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent
  • One - two years of industry experience
